Professional Development/Information Exchange
TNSAE offers at least six opportunities each year for you to participate in educational workshops and seminars conducted by leaders in the association management profession.
Our listserv discussion group allows members to network electronically and get answers to pressing questions within a matter of hours.
Grow professionally and personally by taking advantage of the opportunities for the lively exchange of ideas, experiences and suggestions among you and your colleagues at TNSAE events.
Members receive a subscription to Association Connection newsletter, the voice of the Tennessee association community. It contains useful articles, regular columns, special reports and informative advertising. Each issue is sure to give you new or expanded knowledge that you can put to work for you.
TNSAE’s Membership Directory is published annually and lists members by category. Information about members in each membership category is cross-referenced in a variety of ways designed to help you easily locate your colleagues. The Membership Directory is an excellent resource for keeping up with who is where and doing what, and for locating the professional services and products you need. The directory contains listings of TNSAE’s volunteer leadership and staff. It also contains TNSAE’s Bylaws.
Awards of Excellence
TNSAE’s annual awards program recognizes the leading association executive and association member each year, as well as honoring the best of the best in association programs and services.
Located at the TNSAE Office, the reference library contains books, videos and other materials on a wide variety of topics important to association executives. Want to start an association, better manage your association’s finances, explore legal issues related to associations or plan a membership campaign? That information and more is at your fingertips in our reference materials.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
SIGs are groups of association professionals sharing a common interest in a particular management field. TNSAE currently has three SIGs – CEOs, Meeting Planners, and Technology
TNSAE monitors state and federal legislation that affects the management and operations of associations in general.

Meet your buyers one-on-one. TNSAE boasts the state’s only marketplace for exhibitors and association managers and staff at the popular Trade Show held each November. Qualified buyers attend this extravaganza annually to visit exhibit booths and network with peers.
TNSAE publishes the Association Meetings Guide containing the meeting profiles of TNSAE member associations. As an Associate member, you will also receive a complimentary listing in the Buyer’s Guide Section of the TNSAE
