TNSAE “Membership” Special Interest Group
June 25 @ 11:30 am - 12:00 pm| Free
Thank you to those that participated in our recent SIG conversation. Based on that discussion and next steps, we are beginning with two separate SIG conversations in the coming weeks: membership and meetings.
WHAT: Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide members with another layer of professional development and foster better relationships and information exchanges more easily. They may vary widely in meeting frequency, format and topics, depending on the individual preferences of the group (and can change along the way!). We are starting with three SIGs, which will each be volunteer-led: membership, marketing/communications, and meetings. Participation is optional.
Meetings SIG: Thursday, June 24, 11:30 am – noon CT. To register, click here.
Membership SIG: Friday, June 25, 11:30 am – noon CT. To register, click here.
And, we welcome submissions in advance of specific topics on membership and meetings to share and get insight from association peers who will also be on the call! You can email any thoughts to firstname.lastname@example.org.
“TNSAE SIGs provide a great way to share ideas around a specific topic and really get to know association peers from around the state. The first SIG meeting I participated in was a group of folks with similar challenges in membership. Because we were there for a specific topic, we were able to hone in our conversation on brainstorming solutions and sharing suggestions. The small group setting allows everyone to fully engage and get to know each other. Living in Memphis, I don’t get to interact in-person with TNSAE members often; the SIG meeting gave me a chance to connect virtually in a meaningful way. I’ll definitely attend more SIG meetings in the future!” Amanda Bureau, CAE, CVA, Executive Director, NALS
